A Royal Salute…

In celebration of her royal wedding in 1947, the ‘Girls of Great Britain and Ireland’ tiara was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II by her grandmother Queen Mary. In anticipation of another momentous occasion in Her Majesty The Queen’s life, our creative design team have created the Scroll Rings; an exclusive collection inspired by the ornate ‘festoon-and-scroll’ detail of the ‘Girls of Great Britain & Ireland’ tiara.

The rings, designed in London, feature the commemorative Diamond Jubilee Hallmark. Each ring is engraved with the special limited edition mark commissioned by The Goldsmiths’ Company, which depicts a young Queen Elizabeth adorned with an oversized crown enclosed in a diamond shaped frame. In the history of hallmarking only five other commemorative marks have ever been launched.

The delicate diamond Scroll Rings reflects the careful consideration and great attention to detail that the Astley Clarke creative design team invest in every piece, in this case a majestic salute to this remarkable occasion.

Blogger's Gemmology Event

Last Thursday was an exciting day as we hosted a selection of bloggers for a Gemmology session with the wonderful Amanda. There was champagne, sushi and a host of sparkling gemstones. Thanks to Sarah, Rebecca, Jenny, Kerry, Lauren, Natasha, Harry and Beanie and Bonnie for making it such a wonderful evening.

Astley Clarke took over the DVF suite (a leopard print haven!) at Claridge's on the 13th and 14th of October for a special press preview. Starting with tea and finishing with breakfast, we had collections old and new, sumptuous treatments from Crème de la Mer and plenty of bubbles - a very perfect way to spend 48 hours.
